David Inglis Reid – Royal Scots

My great, great uncle David enlisted in 1914 and served with the Royal Scots. He was killed in battle August 25, 1915 at GALIPOLI. His affects and tunic were returned to my great, great Auntie Mary, David’s sister. In a pocket of his tunic were a book of poems by Robert Burns and a New Testament of 1911.
