The Edmonton City as Museum Project is made by Edmontonians, for Edmontonians.

We continue to reflect on and celebrate the heritage knowledge of many Peoples.

We celebrate and learn about the many histories for ongoing generations of settlement and recognize relationships on the lands around what we know as Edmonton today.

The Edmonton City as Museum Project acknowledges that our work is mainly situated at ᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ / amiskwacîwâskahikan and is located in Treaty 6 territory.

This a traditional meeting ground, gathering place, and travelling route of the Nêhiyawak (Cree), Anishinaabe (Saulteaux), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Dene, and Nakota Sioux, many Inuit communities, as well as the homeland of Métis Nations. The continuation of these histories, languages, cultures, and knowledge continues to enrich our shared heritage of today and tomorrow.

Edmonton City As Museum Project ECAMP is an initiative of the Edmonton Heritage Council.
