My Great Uncle Pte Alexander Porter 1st Canadian mounted rifles KIA June 2nd 1916 in the Battle for Mont Sorrel Belgium. My family travelled in his fot steps this year a emotional journey as we found his name on Panel 32 of the Menin Gate Wall a experience that will not be forgotten.
