WORK | KDays Pop-up Museum

The Edmonton City As Museum Project (ECAMP) is bringing a spectacular pop-up museum to KDays 2025!

While you’re enjoying the thrills of the midway, cotton candy, and carnival games, we’re inviting you to discover incredible stories about labour history in our city at our exhibit.

The ECAMP exhibit in Hall B. In the background, a couple dozen exhibit panels look like a rainbow of protest signs. In front, there's a table with a roll of paper and a sign inviting people to write or draw.
A sneak peek at what you’ll see when you stop by.

Learn about the work Edmontonians have done over the years through stories about the 1988 Nurses’ Strike, homemakers’ clubs, daytime TV star Laura Lindsay, and more.

Get up close and personal with the places Edmontonians work with our touchable 3D guessing game.

See some of the artifacts that Edmontonians have brought from home to our Momentary Museums, like some very prickly buffalo berry twigs on loan from the Starks family.

And make your own exhibit with us!
