Emil Steinbring

Emil Steinbring came with his family to Canada in 1928. He was a Staff Sergeant (Podpraporelik) in the Russian Imperial Army as a cavalry commander. He was captured and was the POW camp liaison. Suffering heavily during the Russian Revolution, finally finding peace in Canada, he never had an opportunity to remember his comrades who died. And we want him remembered as part of Alberta’s story.
